For its third edition, the Saveurs & Savoirs Festival of Culture and Gastronomy will be held from October 9 to 12, 2025, in Uzès.
Initiated by the Librairie de la Place aux Herbes, with the help of gourmet journalist François-Régis Gaudry, the festival will take place in many of the ducal city’s iconic locations. The program includes conferences, tastings, meetings, cooking competitions, exhibitions, screenings, and more. A weekend rich in discoveries where flavors and knowledge will blend in a warm and friendly atmosphere!

Friday, October 10 and Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 7 p.m. – Reservations requiredIn the sumptuous setting of the Prieuré Saint Nicolas, Chef Roberto Panizza, president of the Genoa World Pesto Championship, will host a magnificent evening centered around the famous pesto and Provençal variations. This shared experience will bring together festival guests, chefs, and anyone eager to experience a unique culinary experience. From aperitif to dessert, a selection of organic AOP Duché d’Uzès wines will be offered to guests.
► Farmer’s Lunch
Saturday, October 11 – 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Cour de l’Evêché – Reservations required
Discover a new gourmet experience: the Farmer’s Lunch, a convivial moment in an emblematic place of Uzès heritage, the Bishop’s Court. On the menu:
• an authentic meal, prepared by local farmers,
• a selection of hot and cold recipes, 100% local,
• wines with the AOP Duché d’Uzès to accompany your dishes,
• a festive atmosphere around large, friendly tables.
All-inclusive menu: starter, main course, cheese, dessert, coffee, 1 glass of AOP Duché d’Uzès wine (detailed menu coming soon).

From breakfast to dinner, including aperitifs and afternoon teas, create your own meals with products from the Saveurs et Savoirs Market!
Savory dishes: olives, charcuterie, snails, fresh pasta, goat and sheep cheeses;
Culinary basics: olive oils, vinegars, and aromatic plants;
Sweet treats: pastries, syrups, honey, jams, chocolates, and nougats. AOP Duché d’Uzès Wines: Taste wines from eight estates within the appellation: Château de Comiac – Domaine de l’Ancien Prieuré – Domaine des Dolines – Domaine Reynaud – Domaine St Firmin – Les Collines du Bourdic – Les Vins Philippe Nusswitz – Maison Blanc Senthille
Throughout the day, a refreshment area will be open where you can also enjoy products purchased from the producers.
There will also be activities (free – no reservation required):
- A mobile kitchen with chefs in action, showing live recipes,
- artisanal cooperage demonstrations with Tonnellerie Billon, to discover the art of barrel making,
- entertainment offered by exhibitors,
- parent/child cooking workshops led by the association Les Petites Mains.
