Wine Tasting with Top French Sommeliers
On Monday 29th November, French sommeliers’ association Union de la Sommellerie Française held their General Meeting in Nîmes’ Musée de la Romanité, with almost 140 sommeliers in attendance. Harvests are well under way
With the white grapes (including Viognier, Grenache Blanc, Roussanne and Vermentino), and the Grenaches and Syrahs destined for rosés all safely gathered in, harvesting is slowly coming to an end here in the Duché d’Uzès appellation. Only the last of the red varieties - Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Carignan – remain to be picked. Good weather
